Teacher-Student Football Match

The most exciting event in October is undoubtedly the football battles. And among the battles, the most thrilling one would surely be the teachers versus students match.

The annual 'teachers versus students match' is a tradition in MST. Students can have an opportunity to challenge their dearest teachers for once. This year, 7A decided to confront our teachers.

Football is traditionally regarded as the sports for boys only. However, in our school, girls can enjoy the same rights too! They can also participate in the football matches just as boys do. Therefore, it is not surprising that a girl took part in the battle too.

And after a hard battle, 7A students lost and the score was 7-1.

"It is just like a tradition that students would lose the battle. Perhaps students are worried that winning may provoke their teachers, and it may result in a disaster in the upcoming tests," Mr. Luk, who also took part in the battle, said jokingly.

But no matter who won or who lost, the ones who gave their best in the field were all congratulated and encouraged by their non-athletic mates outside the court. And the "enemies", appreciated and congratulated each other as soon as they walked out of the court.

Maybe you are not particularly keen on sports, but through football, what we regard as "the MST spirit" is clearly shown in the matches.

So next time when the football battle is on again, don't hesitate. Go and support, or even join the battle yourself!
