The Student Union debate competition was held from May 14th to 22 nd. Organizations that have participated in the comptition included Prefects,Drama Club, Librarians,Class 1B...etc.

After series of fierce competitions, Prefects and the Drama Club became the finalists. The debate competition final was held on 29th in the SAC after school. The topic was "Banning local Falun Gong doesn't benefit Hong Kong". Prefects argeed with the topic but the Drama Club acted against it. Students came and cheered for the teams which they supported. Both teams gave strong arguments and all the debaters were eloquent. This gave the judges,Miss.Kam, Mr.Chow Yu Fai, and Hung Ming,a a hard job.It was difficult to decide which team could win the debate. The final result was out of students' anticipation. The marks of the two teams were totally equal coincidentally. This meant both Prefects and the Drama Club. Judges gave comments to the debaters at the end of the competition.
