Visit of Our Sister School

It still seems like yesterday to have our friends from The Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University visit us.

19 representatives from our sister school visited us from 8th to 13th February. It was the first time for the Beijing students to visit our school. Their 5-day trip was full of different activities.

The first day, they had a welcome feast together with our student representatives and teachers. They visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong and had English lesson with MST students in the next day. Apart from volleyball competitions and dance practices in the following days, they also took part in one of the highlighted event of their visit, the Variety Show on 11th Feb.

In the English lesson, both MST and the Beijing students finished a worksheet, which was about the differences between Hong Kong and Beijing, together. The Beijing students found it really interesting to know about the differences in English. MST students also had a nice experience to know more about the culture and school life of Beijing.

In the Variety Show, our sister school had performed four beautiful dances, which had amazed a lot of the audience. Apart from the dances from our sister school, our MST dance team also performed. There were also verse speaking, choir singing, Latin dancing and a 'mini musical' too. It's a great loss to miss such a wonderful show.

Besides the school activities, the Beijing students also visited the Hong Kong Disneyland, the Ocean Park and other tourist spots. When asked what did they think of our school, Liang Dan Ning said our school uniform looked better then theirs and the environment was pretty good, with lots of trees and plants.

What do they think of our MST students then?

"They are all very passionate and friendly," said Xu Zhi Yu, "I have such a warm feeling here that it makes me feel home." "The students here all very polite too" Gu Tian Ning added.

"I also think Hong Kong has so many tall buildings. So much taller than those in Beijing" said Ping Jun Liang.
