It was a bright sunny autumn day when MST-ers went to the school picnic this year on 27 October.
Our schoolmates went to different locations for the picnic according to their forms. This year's destinations include Stanley, Ocean Park, Aberdeen Reservoir, Butterfly Bay, Tai Lam Country Park and even Lamma Island. Of course, our teachers joined us too.
In Ocean Park, our Form 5 and Form 6 students all arrived in excitement. As soon as they were given the tickets, some went in immediately for the cable-car ride to the other side of the park where all those roller coasters, Ferris wheel, Crazy Galleon are. When you looked at the queues, all you could see were those familiar happy faces. Some students had even played the Dragon Roller Coaster for ten times! Weren't they afraid of the high speed? 'No!' They shouted, 'It's so exciting!'
For students who didn't have the guts for the games, the Pacific Pier and the Atoll Reef gave them a good time too. The sharks, rays and little jellyfishes amazed the students, as they had never seen these marine lives in person so close. The Giant Panda Habitat was also a popular site for our students too.
On the other hand in the Aberdeen Reservoir, Form 3 students also had a great time. They had barbecues, ball games and interesting games prepared by their class association. Everyone enjoyed himself or herself.
It seems every MST-ers had had a relaxing, enjoyable day.

The school picnic is a very meaningful event for our teachers and students. Not only does it provide us the chance to go outdoors, but it also let us have fun and forget the burden of schoolwork for a while. It is even more important for senior form students as they are almost suffocated by the pressure of public exam and heavy schoolwork. The picnic simply gave them some time to relax and recharge their batteries.
